The sample checklists that I have posted are the exact same ones I will be using to inspect yor aircraft. So it would be a good idea to find any information that may be listed on the forms. For instance on the airplane form there is a place for control surface travel both the recommended and actual. It would really save both of us a lot of time if that was researched before I was at the point of asking you what those values are. Also as I am inspecting you are able to rectify any descrepancies I find while I am there. So if I see a bolt that is too short and doesn't have enough threads I would expect you to replace it with one of proper length at the time. Same with any placards or instrument and switch labels. Hopefully you will have a labeler with you to properly complete the labeling.
To use the checklists:
1. Print a copy of the applicable checklist.
2. Go through EACH item and if it applies to your aircraft make sure it is a yes. If it doesn't apply it is an N/A. Obviously you don't want any NOs.
3. If you can get through the whole check with yes and n/a then you are ready.
