Nyla's Air Gear is custom made accessories for your engine and Light Sport Aircraft Aircraft. These accesories are made with high quality 500 and 100 denier cordura nylon in a wide variety of colors to match your aircraft. Attention to detail in the construction will be evident when you see the items. Of course all are unconditionally guaranteed against defects.

Exhaust Plug and flag. $20.00

The Rotax owners manual recommends plugging the intake and exhaust when you are done flying for the day. We looked a long time to find a quality exhaust plug that would fit the metric outlet on the Rotax muffler. A durable embroidered "Remove Before Flight" flag is attached as a reminder to remove it during preflight. Of course if you don't remove it your engine won't start and that will remind you too.

Air Filter Covers $5.00 single/$10 double

When you are finished flying for the day Rotax recommends closing off the intakes to prevent moist air from migrating into the engine when not in operation, which leads to eventual corrosion of bearings and premature engine failure. These filter covers have toggle drawstrings to tighten them over the filters to prevent air from entering your engine. Coupled with our special exhaust plug it will go a long way to protecting engine internal parts and allowing it to reach TBO. Available for the dual oval, small single, Hirth, Zenoah and large single for intake silencers.

Powered Parachute Line Sox 16' - $80.00 20' - $95.00

Line sox are available in both 16 and 20 foot lengths. They feature high quality YKK zippers and come with cam buckle straps to attach line sox to fanguard. Colors to match your airframe. Your name and phone number or business may be embroidered on them to facilitate their return in case you misplace one or both. Cost of embroidered name(or 2 lines) is an extra $10.00 per set.

NAG prop covers are designed for the pilot that transports his plane on an open trailer, leaves his plane out in the elements or just wants to protect his expensive composite prop from hangar rash. Rocks can be thrown up from other vehicles and cause severe damage to contemporary composite props. UV light from the sun will also damage a composite prop over time and in the hangar there is always the chance of something falling against your expensive prop. The covers are constructed with a layer of padding to protect your prop from rocks, UV and other damage. Covers are available for IVO, PowerFin and most other popular props. Covers for two blade wood props are available with supplied dimensions. Covers come with straps to attach to hub to prevent loss during transport and a strap top secure the prop to prevent windmilling on open trailers. All colors or a mixed set is available. One of our customers chose the three colors of the Mexican flag, green, white and red and another patriotic PPCer chose Red, White and Blue! Name and phone (or 2 lines of text)can be added for $5.00 extra per cover, this must be done during construction and can't be retrofitted.

Chute Bag $70.00

These bags are 36" x 40" with unique closures that won’t bite your canopy and straps with plastic buckles to attach to your plane for transport. No velcro is used on wing bags to fray canopy lines. All colors available. Embroidery for name and phone number $10.00 extra.

Axle Covers for spring rod type landing gear. $20.00 a set

Dress your fiberglass rod landing gear legs with color coordinated axle covers. Easily removed for transport or preflight inspection. All colors available.

The NAG full covers have features not found in other covers. They have an integral draw string on the bottom to prevent even the strongest wind from blowing the cover off in a storm. Three zipper openings with rain flaps are provided at the outriggers and instrument pod to allow access to ditty bags and equipment without removing the cover. All other seams are double stitched with heavy aircraft grade nylon thread purchased from Boeing. The cover is made with coated 1000 denier nylon material with colors to match your airframe. A Nag cover withstood a severe thunderstorm with winds up to 50 mph at the World Powered Parachute Competition in 2000 and was found still tightly attached and protecting the aircraft when other covers blew away in the wind. Contact Nyla for estimate for embroidery of name, phone and/or company Logo. These covers are NOT for use on open trailers. The speed of the air will flap the cover against the airframe of your plane and will rub the powder coating off as well as damage the cover. No warranty if used on open trailers.
